The Heart Behind the Film

The spiritual foundation and vision guiding this project.

The Beginning of the Journey

The story behind Salvation to Surrender began as a personal exploration of faith, surrender, and the search for true rest in God.

These reflections eventually became the book Salvation to Surrender: A 35 Year Journey of Finding True Rest, a devotional written to encourage readers to slow down, reflect, and rediscover the peace that comes from fully trusting God.

Through the process of writing the book, a deeper story began to emerge — a story about the human struggle between control and surrender, and the powerful transformation that happens when grace meets us in our brokenness.

FROM DEVOTIONAL TO FILM

Creator, Salvation to Surrender

As the message of Salvation to Surrender continued to develop, it became clear that the story had the potential to reach people in another powerful way — through film.

Cinema has a unique ability to bring spiritual journeys to life, allowing audiences to witness the tension, the doubt, and the turning point that often defines a life transformed by grace.

The film Salvation to Surrender: A Journey of Redemption is being developed as a faith-centered feature film that explores the cost of surrender and the freedom that follows when a life is placed fully in God's hands.

A Personal Journey of Faith

Like many journeys of faith, the message behind Salvation to Surrender grew out of real life experiences, spiritual reflection, and a desire to better understand what it truly means to trust God with every part of life.

The themes explored in the devotional — surrender, restoration, and spiritual renewal — are not abstract ideas. They reflect the struggles and hopes that many people quietly carry as they search for purpose, peace, and redemption.

Faith Narrative

CALLING

Salvation to Surrender was born out of a simple but challenging truth: salvation is not the end of the journey—it is the beginning of one. Too often, faith is framed as a moment of arrival rather than a lifelong process of transformation. This story exists to explore what happens after belief, when grace confronts pride, control, fear, and the daily cost of surrender. This film is not about perfect people or easy answers. It is about brokenness, resistance, mercy, and the quiet, difficult work of allowing God to reshape a life. We believe stories like this matter now more than ever, in a culture that is spiritually hungry but deeply skeptical of anything that feels shallow or performative.Salvation to Surrender is our attempt to tell a story that is honest, reverent, and human—one that respects faith without simplifying it.

PURPOSE

This film is not being created by a studio or driven by market trends. It is being carried forward by a community of people who believe that stories still have the power to point toward truth.

Those who support Salvation to Surrender are not simply funding a production—they are helping bring a story of redemption into the world. This is a shared effort, grounded in the belief that meaningful art is often born through collective faith, prayer, and commitment.

We see this project as something that belongs to a wider community—one that values authenticity, wrestles honestly with faith, and believes that surrender is not weakness, but the beginning of transformation.

STEWARDSHIP

We believe stewardship is a spiritual responsibility, not just a financial one. That conviction has shaped every decision in how this film is being produced.

This project is being made on a deliberately lean budget, with no inflated salaries, no celebrity-driven costs, and no excess. Our creative team has committed to working within tight constraints so that every dollar serves the story, the performances, and the film’s ability to reach an audience.

This is not about cutting corners—it is about discipline, clarity, and trust. We are building this film carefully, intentionally, and transparently, knowing that the resources entrusted to us carry weight and responsibility.

INVITATION

our hope for Salvation to Surrender extends far beyond the screen. We want this film to spark conversations—within families, churches, small groups, and communities—about what surrender actually looks like in real life.

We envision this story being used as a bridge: between belief and practice, between conviction and compassion, between those who feel close to God and those who feel far away. Through screenings, discussions, and ministry partnerships, we hope the film becomes a catalyst for revival, reflection, healing, and renewed faith.

Ultimately, our goal is not just to make a film—but to release a story that invites people to consider the quiet, courageous work of surrender, and the grace that meets us there.
